Festival

The Arab International Festival was an annual celebration hosted by the Arab Chamber of Commerce which showcased the rich cultural tapestry of the Arab community in Dearborn, Michigan. International NGO proudly managed this vibrant festival from 1995 to 2007, which attracted over 300,000 visitors each year, spanned twelve city blocks and featured a diverse array of vendors, performances, and cultural exhibits.

Through a partnership with the Muslim community in Dearborn, Impact International significantly contributed to the festival's success. Our efforts included:

  • Organizing and managing festival logistics, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees and vendors.

  • Mobilizing over 200 volunteers from the local community to assist in various festival activities, fostering community spirit and engagement.

  • Highlighting the contributions of the local community, strengthening ties and promoting cultural understanding.

The festival not only served as a platform for cultural expression but also as a vital economic boost for local businesses and initiatives. Impact International hopes to re-establish the Arab International Festival by the end of 2025. We recognize the importance of celebrating the rich heritage of Arab culture and giving a platform to creative expression.
